Freelance Web Developer & Digital Designer

The Munroe Agency is looking for freelance web design and development support for a variety of clients and assignments including website & digital application development, email development and digital animation. Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in WordPress, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a creative agency environment
• Strong front-end development skills including basic knowledge and familiarity with HTM5, JavaScript, jQuery, React, CSS3, SASS, PHP
• Knowledge of digital best practices
•  Understanding of UX analysis /web reporting, familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Data Studio
•  Knowledge of SEO best practices and development considerations
• Understanding of front-end performance analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with the WordPress framework including basic understanding of PHP
• Experience with API integrations
• Website Q/C testing, browser compatibility testing and debugging
• Ability to perform website audits (subjective and data driven) with consideration to the UI the UX and search rankings
• A strong ability to troubleshoot functional and layout issues
• Strong UI/digital design skills
• Understanding and ability to execute on the atomic design principle
• Experience implementing applications using style guides and wireframes
• Knowledge of email marketing including best practices, familiarity with various e-marketing software solutions, A/B testing, Q/C testing, capability to develop backwards compatible, responsive email campaigns, and performance reporting
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, GIT
